Great post on goals / comparing yourself to others

From Mags

What he says here is pure gold but is much easier said than done

"It is crucial that you stay goal oriented and measure progress in relation to yourself and not your competitors. Any energy spent on measuring yourself with other riders is a waste of time and is energy that could have been spent developing your own skills."

Of course a race is a race because it compares you to other riders. But the results of a race will be what they will be plain and simple.

The results just got posted for the Rocky Mount derailer series race. Got to remember. Baby steps. Baby steps.
