Another cable end when you are out of cable ends

My plastic dip stuff that I typically coat on cable ends dried up and of course I had no cable ends, so here is another trick. Heat shrink tubing that you can get at the hardware store or the local Rat Shack



This particular size is actually too small for thicker brake cable but just the right size for der. cables.

Cut to size, slip it on the end:


And torch it:


A true heat gun is preferred, but a lighter works just as well.
